Here in Hanover, PA a passion for snacking excellence took shape over a 100 years ago. A century later, G&S is still building on that snacking heritage. Literally.

1996
Steve Garvick and Dale Spahr founded G&S Foods in a 20,000 sq ft leased facility in York, PA offering private label and contract manufacturing with seasoned pretzels and snack mix blends as their initial product lines.
1999
G&S Foods acquired Tastysnack, Inc. and formed Tastysnack Quality Foods, Inc. which provided a single compound enrobing line which they used to manufacture enrobed pretzels for private label.
2000
Having already outgrown their 20,000 sq ft warehouse, G&S Foods and Tastysnack Quality Foods relocated to a 75,000 sq ft facility in Abbottstown, PA. They purchased this facility two years later.
2018
MAW acquired G&S Foods and Tastysnack Quality Foods and became G&S Foods, LLC.
2024
In June, G&S Foods held a ribbon-cutting for its new 348,344 sq ft manufacturing facility in Hanover, PA.
